While your domain name is the address of your website, where it actually is (where all the ones and zeros are kept) is the hosting part. Your hosting is a section of (or perhaps all of) a computer called a server that you lease on an annual basis.

The server will be permanently connected to the internet by high speed connections and will serve up your website on demand to whoever requests it. With the exception of occasional problems and necessary updates, it is always on. Generally speaking a server is available for more than 99% of the time with availability figures often as high as 99.99% of the time.

What we do

We run our own servers which are kept securely in a "server farm". The server farm provides backup power supplies, air conditioning, multiple connections to the internet backbone, fire suppressant facilities and has controlled access so that no unauthorised person can tamper with our servers or the data on them. Our servers are Windows based and the server farm is in the United Kingdom. We offer hosting as follows:
